Ms. Nonon Wardhani

Coordinator of REAAA Business Forum

She started her working career in Engineering & Management Consultancy Services, with Mott Macdonald international ltd, from 1999 up to 2004, in Jakarta. In 2007 she joined PT Jababeka Tbk, a property development company, mainly on the Infrastructures and Investment area.

At present she is the Infrastructures Director of the company and as Business & Investment Director in Tanjung Lesung. In professional organization, she joined the Indonesian Road Development of Indonesia (IRDA), as regular member in 2003, where she mostly looks after the International relation of the organization as Vice chairman for international relations section. Through IRDA, she joined REAAA in 2009. In 2014 she was appointed as Coopted Council Member.

With a strong background in international relation as well as in the business side, it was not surpraised that she is the one initiator of the REAAA Business Forum, that held in every REAAA International Conference since 2015. Later, she was elected as Honorary Treasurer General of REAAA, for the 16th term, starting from 2017. She is a hard working lady, and very decisive. In her daily busy time , she still can do her hobbies such like yoga pilates, dancing, drawings and shoping ! She has a personal motto “As a visitor in this place , our purpose here is to observe , to learn, to love and then we will return home when our life mission is accomplished, so enjoy your life as much as you can do”.

She believes, that as the world is always changing and moving forward, so then REAAA as a potential professional organization, should also be ready to change for having better contribution to the region. Now is the perfect time for us to start new idea and programs, don’t wait! Lets do the works and give birth for any implementation!! (Jakarta, May, 2017).

“CURRENT STATUS AND WAY FORWARD OF ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE IN MYANMAR”

Ms. Ei Ei Myo, Deputy Director

Department of Highways Ministry of Construction, Myanmar

Ms. Ei Ei Myo was born in Yangon Region of Myanmar in 1976. She graduated with the Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) from Yangon Technological University in 2002. Since then, she joined the government services at Public Works (now Department of Highways) under the Ministry of Construction.
During her career, she was assigned in special projects across Myanmar. She received Master of Philosophy with the discipline in Infrastructure Management from Yokohama National University in 2011. Now she is Deputy Director in Department of Highways. Her work involves the quality control and assurance of roadways/airfields and assigned counterpart of development partners.

Engr. Manuel M. Bonoan

President, SKYWAY Operations & Maintenance Corporation (SOMCO), Philippines

He is the President & Chief Executive Officer of Skyway O&M Corporation, Manila Toll Expressway Systems, Inc. and Star Tollway Corporation.

He was a Senior Undersecretary (DPWH) of Department of Public Works and Highways from July 2007 to June 2016.

Undersecretary Maria Catalina E. Cabral

In an organization dominated by male officials and employees, Dr. MARIA CATALINA E. CABRAL, the first female rank-and-file employee who has reached the level of Undersecretary in the hierarchy of officials in the Department of Public Works and Highways, qualifies as a strong example of “Women in Infrastructure”.

A firm believer of her mantra of 4Gs: Growth, Governance, Green and Gender, Dr. Cabral was able to reach the second highest position in the Department through sheer hard work, determination and perseverance.
A licensed Civil Engineer, Dr. Cabral has three (3) Masters Degrees and two (2) Doctorate Degrees in the field of Business Management, Economics and Public Administration. And at present she is taking another Doctorate Degree on Urban and Regional Planning at the University of the Philippines. She has attended several local and international scholarships and trainings, and is a frequently invited resource speaker here and abroad.

As Undersecretary for Planning and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Service, Dr. Cabral is in-charge of overseeing the development of strategic and priority plans and programs of the Department including implementation of PPP projects.
She is the 2017 National President and first female highest leader of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE). Again, exemplifying the role of women in infrastructure.

She is also an active member of Road Engineering Association of the Philippines (REAP) and the American Society for Civil Engineers-Philippine Group.

Engr. Alfon brings with him more than 30 years of work experience in construction and engineering management, business development, commercial leasing and property management, and network development/franchise management across huge companies in the Phils including real estate and property development, food franchising, oil and engineering companies.

He graduated from Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Management Development Program (MDP)
Makati, Metro Manila on 2002 and University of San Carlos BS Civil Engineering Technological Center, Cebu on 1982.He is a Licensed Civil Engineer. Currently, he is a Vice President at Filinvest Land, Inc.


“PROGRESS TOWARDS THE INTRODUCTION OF AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES INTO AUSTRALIA”

Mr. Kieran Sharp

Senior Buss. Manager, ARRB & Chair REAAA Committee – Australia

Kieran Sharp is currently a Senior Business Manager at the Australian Road Research Board. He has worked on a wide range of pavement, materials and asset management research projects for Austroads, state road agencies, industry and the OECD. He was the Manager of the Australian Accelerated Loading Facility (ALF) program during the 1990s.

He has been involved with various Austroads and industry-based Project Steering Committees and Reference Groups, and FEHRL and TRB Committees. In 2003, Kieran became the first member of ARRB to receive an Austroads Achievement Award in recognition of his contribution to Austroads activities over the previous 20 years. Kieran is the Chair of the Technical Committee of the REAAA and a co-opted member of the Governing Council.

In 2012, he was elected an Honorary Member of REAAA and in 2013, he was awarded the Roads Australia Award for Technical Excellence.

Mr. Destiawan Soewardjono Simeon

He is a Chairman of international Market, IRDA. He is an Operation Director of PT. Wijaya Karya (Persero) from 2013.
He is an ordinary of REAAA since January 2011 and elected as the Head of Organising Committee for the REAAA and PIARC event on Bali in 2014.

He has elected as Chairman of the 4th REAAA Business Forum on March 2017 and has elected as the Co Opted council member, in the 106th REAAA, Council Meeting, from 23rd March, 2017 in Bali, Indonesia.

Dr. Ir. Arie Setiadi Moerwanto, MSc.

Director General of Highways Ministry of Public Works and Housing Indonesia

He graduated in 1984 from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia with Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering. He receives PhD in Civil Engineering from University of Wollongong, Australia.

Before promoted to Director General, he was the Head of Research and Development Agency, Ministry of Public Works and Housing of The Republic of Indonesia, Director of Water Resources Management – Directorate General of Water Resources, Ministry of Public Works of The Republic of Indonesia and Director of Research Center for Water Resources –Research and Development Agency, Ministry of Public Works of The Republic of Indonesia.


“INTERNALISATION OF MALAYSIAN CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY”

Mr. Megat Kamil Azmi Megat Rus Kamarani

Senior General Manager, CIDB,Malaysia

Megat Kamil Azmi b. Megat Rus Kamarani is a Senior General Manager of the Operation Sector, Construction Industry Development Board of Malaysia (CIDB). His primary role in Operation Sector is to implement the operational functions and enforcement of the CIDB Act which includes registration of contractors, collection of levy, registration of construction personnel, accreditation of skilled construction worker, enforcement of standard conformance of construction material and disciplinary and legal actions on contractors.

In the International arena, he has also served as the Malaysian representative at the APEC Informal Network on the Alignment of Structural Loadings and the APEC Subcommittee on Standard Conformance Technical Group on Structural Loadings. He has also presented many papers at seminars, locally and internationally, which include amongst them : APEC Committee Seminars, Asian Construct Seminar, Internal Federation of Asian & Western Pacific Contractors Association Seminar and many others.

He graduated in 1986 from University of North Carolina at Charlotte, U.S.A, with Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He has also obtained Diploma in Public Administration in 1998 and Master of Science in Integrated Construction Project Management in 2004 from University Technology Mara (UiTM). He is also a Civil Engineer, a certified Construction Project Manager and a qualified Lead Auditor of ISO 9001:2000.
