Dr. Ir. Achmad Hermanto Dardak M.Sc.,

President of REAAA (2013 – 2017)

Born in Trenggalek, 9th January 1957, Dr. Hermanto Dardak received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology, Bandung, Indonesia on 1980. He then received his postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering from University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia on 1985. Thereafter, he received his Doctorate degree in Economic Transportation from University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia on 1990.
Dr. Dardak has an extensive track record. He was an Expert to the Minister on Autonomy and Synergy in Regional Development, Ministry of Human Settlement and Regional Infrastructure in 2003 until 2005. He then served as Director General of Spatial Planning, Ministry of Public Works, Republic of Indonesia from 2005 to 2007. Afterward, he served as Director General of Highways, Ministry of Public Works of the Republic of Indonesia for the period of 2007 to 2009 before appointed as the Vice Minister of Public Works, Republic of Indonesia on 2010.
Dr. Hermanto Dardak involves in several organization such as vice president of PII (Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia), Indonesian Union of Engineer, Honorary Chairman of IRDA (Indonesian Road Development Association). He is appointed as the President of REAAA from 2013 to 2017.

MINISTER OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HOUSING OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA

H.E. Dr. Basuki Hadimuljono is the Minister of Public Works and Housing, Republic of Indonesia. Born in Solo on 5th November 1954, Dr. Hadimuljono received his undergraduate degree in Geological Engineering from Gajah Mada University in Yogyakarta on 1979. He then received his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University, USA, majoring in irrigation.
Dr. Hadimuljono has an extensive track record in the Public Works Ministry. He started his career at the top management level as the Director General of Water Resources in the Ministry of Human Settlement and Regional Infrastructure from 2003 to 2005. Afterward, he served as the Director General for Research and Development in the Ministry of Public Works in 2005 – 2007. He was later appointed as Inspector General of the Public Works Ministry for the period of 2007 to 2013. Thereafter, he served as the Director General of Spatial Planning before being sworn as the Minister of Public Works and Housing of the Republic of Indonesia by President Joko Widodo on 27th October 2014.

Herry Trisaputra Zuna has dedicated his life in the Ministry of Public Works from 20 years ago. He started his career in the Ministry of Public Works as a staff in Directorate of Technical Affair for Metropolitan Road in 1995. He held several important positions during his career in the Directorate of General Highway in Ministry of Public Works, such as Head of Program Planning and Evaluation in Directorate of Infrastructure’s Network System in 2005, Head of Sub directorate of Toll Road Development in 2007, Head of Investment Division Indonesia Toll Road Authority in 2011, etc. Currently, He is Head of Indonesia Toll Road Authority in the Ministry of Public Works and Housing.

Dato’ Izzaddin Idris was appointed Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of UEM Group Berhad (UEM Group) on 7th July 2009.
Dato’ Izzaddin holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (First Class Honors in Finance) from University of New South Wales, Australia and is a Fellow of CPA Australia and a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
He has over 20 years of experience in the fields of investment banking, financial and general management and was previously the Chief Financial Officer/Senior Vice President (Group Finance) of Tenaga Nasional Berhad, a position he held from September 2004 to June 2009.
He was formerly a Senior Vice President (Corporate Finance) of Southern Bank Berhad and the Chief Financial Officer of Ranhill Berhad. He also held the position of Chief Operating Officer of Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad in the late 1990s. After graduating in June 1985, Dato’ Izzaddin served Malaysian International Merchant Bankers Berhad for almost 11 years which included a 3-year secondment in the late 1980s to Barclays de Zoete Wedd Limited, a London-based investment bank and a subsidiary of Barclays Bank PLC then.
Dato’ Izzaddin currently sits on the Boards of UEM Group Berhad and several UEM Group of Companies including UEM Sunrise Berhad, UEM Edgenta Berhad, PLUS Malaysia Berhad, Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad, PT. Lintas Marga Sedaya in Indonesia and India’s Uniquest Infra Ventures Private Limited. He is also a Board member of Axiata Group Berhad, one of the leading telecommunications group in Asia.
In addition, Dato’ Izzaddin is a member of the Board of Trustees at Yayasan UEM, a non-profit foundation that supports the implementation of UEM Group’s corporate responsibility initiatives and philanthropic activities as well as a Director of Yayasan Putra Business School, a non-profit organization that aims to become a home-grown globally recognized Business School.

If there is a model for “womanpower” in an organization dominated by male officials and employees, it is Dr. MARIA CATALINA E. CABRAL, the first female rank and file employee who has reached the level of Undersecretary in the hierarchy of officials in the Department of Public Works and Highways.
A firm believer of her mantra of 4Gs: Growth, Governance, Green and Gender, Dr. Cabral was able to reach the second highest position in the Department through sheer hard work, determination and perseverance.
A licensed Civil Engineer, Dr. Cabral has three (3) Masters Degrees and two (2) Doctorate Degrees in the field of Business Management, Economics and Public Administration. And at present she is taking another Doctorate Degree for Urban and Regional Planning at the University of the Philippines.
She has attended several local and international scholarships and trainings, and is a frequently invited as resource speaker here and abroad.
As Undersecretary for Planning and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Service, Dr. Cabral is in-charge of overseeing the development of strategic and priority plans and programs of the Department including implementation of PPP projects.
She is the 2017 National President and first female highest leader of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), and an active member of Road

Engineering Association of the Philippines (REAP) and the American Society for Civil Engineers-Philippine Group.
