Good Day distinguished guests, esteemed speakers, and our moderator.

Welcome

It is my great honour to welcome you to the 14th REAAA Business Forum, hosted today in Taepei, Taiwan. In this vibrant city, we are privileged to gather in person, uniting leading professionals, institutions, and companies from across Asia and Australasia. Our purpose is to strengthen the bonds of technical and commercial collaboration, and to collectively harness the transformative power of innovation for our road infrastructure community.

Your presence here is a testament to your commitment to progress. It is this shared dedication that makes the REAAA Business Forum a cornerstone event— a unique platform designed to foster business-to-business collaboration, connect key stakeholders, and explore new opportunities for partnership and growth in the road sector.

Since its establishment in 2014 as a platform for advancing road engineering across Asia and Australasia, the REAAA Business Forum has seen a distinguished history of gatherings: the 1st and 2nd Forums in Bali and Sydney; the 3rd in Tokyo; the 4th in Bali; the 5th in Manila; the 6th in Kuala Lumpur; the 7th in Taipei; the 8th in Manila; the 9th in Seoul following a pandemic pause; the 10th in Labuan Bajo examining Industry 4.0 for REAAA’s 50th anniversary; and the 11th in Bangkok. Building on this legacy, the 12th REAAA Business Forum focused on Innovations in Asphalt Materials and Mixes; the 13th in Goyang exploring AI Applications.

The 14th REAAA Business Forum is designed with a clear objective: to facilitate meaningful exchange among experts, foster collaboration, and translate advanced knowledge into implementable solutions for the infrastructure challenges across our region. More than just a technical meeting, this forum provides a dedicated space for business-to-business engagement, where insights will be shared through focused presentations, expert-led discussions, and interactive Q&A sessions committed to forging the future of our infrastructure.
