The objective of REAAA business forum is to facilitate road sector business to business collaboration in the Road engineering or related sectors and to enhance REAAA membership, from business persons, institutions or companies.
This forum will be held in conjunction with REAAA council meetings and conferences.
The 1st REAAA business forum was held in Bali, Indonesia, April 2014.
The 2nd was held in Sydney, Australia, October 2014.
The 3rd was held in Tokyo, Japan, November 2016.
The 4th was held in Bali, Indonesia, March 2017.
The 5th was held in Manila, Philippines, July 2017.
The 6th was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, October 2018.
The 7th was held in Taipei, Taiwan ,April 2019.
The 8th was held in Manila, Philippines, sept 2021
Some of those previously REAAA business forum were held in cooperation with REAAA
fellowship programs bring some potential speakers from developing countries by sponsors.
we can conclude that the purpose of all REAAA business forums which has been held before,
has been completely accomplished with positive outcomes for the attendances and in directly
for the countries that involved.
To maintain the sustainability of the positive outcomes from REAAA business forum, on 24th March 2022, we held the 9th REAAA Business Forum in Hybrid Event, Seoul, South Korea. This forum prepared and organized by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) of Korea, REAAA Korean Chapter (Chairman Mr. Jong Gon Park), Korea Expressway Corporation (KEC) and KEC’s Center for Smart Construction Technology, Korea Agency for Infrastructure Technology Advancement (KAIA)
The purpose of this forum has been completely accomplished, even though all speakers, participants and members joining the hybrid event.

Notes for the next business forum:

  • The forums should be more attractive for business-to-business cooperation in private companies due to collaboration in government sector projects or private investment projects.
  • The speakers from private companies or state own companies should pay some fees due to promoting their companies’ projects or products related infrastructure development.
  • Get some sponsorship for the fellowship program to bring some speakers for REAAA Business Forum for potential non country member.
  • REAAA business forum can facilitate REAAA members who are interested in further cooperation related to projects in REAAA Business Forum.
  • Business forum event can request companies to sponsor the forum and put their logo in the banner.

REAAA Business Forum welcome any business opportunity program. Hopefully, in the future
all member countries can do direct coordination related B to B cooperation.

Good morning, Annyeonghaseyo

Honorary REAAA president, chairman REAAA Korean chapter, REAAA council members distinguished

speakers, participants and guests.

 

Warm greeting from Jakarta!

 

It’s very honour for me to present these congratulatory remarks for the 9th

 

REAAA business forum today.

Since in this moment the covid 19 pandemic is still in transition to become endemic, this forum being held

in hybrid event.

 

Despite, on this event which we unable having physically gather in the beautiful city of Seoul, I hope this

event will not limit or reduce our spirit and dedication to bring this forum successfully done.

 

Ladies and gentlemen,

I would like to extend my gratitude to REAAA Korean chapter

Chaired by Mr. Jong Gon Park, who has prepared and organized everything for the event.

 

As the coordinator of the REAAA business forum, please allow me to give a brief history of the REAAA

business forum.

 

REAAA business forum was designed for business to business or B to B cooperation to collaboration in

infrastructure development, especially in roads and related sectors.

 

We are delighted to announce that since the establishment of this forum in 2014, REAAA has become the

most dynamic road association in Asia and Australasia with membership from individuals and institutions

increasing every year.

 

The forums are always held in conjunction with the REAAA council meetings and/or conferences.

From its early years, the REAAA business forum showed its potential and demonstrated its high strategic

value for REAAA.

 

From the start, 8 forums had been carried out and today’s forum will be the 9th.

The first 2 REAAA business forum held in Bali, Indonesia in April 2014 and in Sydney, Australia in October

2014.

The 3rd was held in Tokyo, japan in November 2016

The 4th in Bali, Indonesia in march 2017

The 5th in manila, the Philippines in July 2017

The 6th in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in October 2019

The 7th in Taipei, Taiwan in April 2019 and

The 8th in Manila, the Philippines in September 2021

 

All the forums proved to be great success

In this regard, REAAA business forum can play an important role as facilitator to establish any business

opportunities to be implemented among country-members.

 

Ladies and gentlemen,

 

Today the 9th REAAA business forum, features prominent speakers from various countries, will gave

presentations followed by panel discussion and question answer session, with the main topic “smart

construction technology in road engineering”

I really hope that in the future this forum can cover wider range of issues or topic that even can reach not

only REAAA members but beyond REAAA. This can be become opportunities as well where this forum can

be used as a platform in promoting REAAA, also can provide us with more opportunities in building linkages

and partnerships among country members.

Profile

Ms Nonon is a member of IRDA (Indonesia Road Development Association) since 2003 and later as Vice Chairman for International Relations Section of IRDA. She joined REAAA in 2009 and was appointed as Cooped Council Member in 2014. She is one of the initiators of REAAA Business Forum as a routine agenda of REAAA International Conference since 2015. In 2017, Ms Nonon was appointed as REAAA Honorary Treasurer General.

Ms Nonon started her career in Mott MacDonald International Ltd, an engineering and management consultancy services company, reaching the position of Business Director in Jakarta office. She continued to PT Jababeka Tbk, a property development listed company, mainly focusing in the Infrastructure and Investment sector where she served as Infrastructure Director, as well Director of Business Investment for PT Jababeka’s Tanjung Lesung Tourism Development Area. She established PT Karunia Adhi Pradana in 2020, a highly specialized consultant company, providing advisory, consulting and one-stop services to government, state owned / regional owned enterprises, as well private businesses, for topics such as area and infrastructure development to support investment and regional development.
